Bear With Us™️ is our signature transport service that started our business in 1974.    Founder Richard Schnebly  lived in Arizona and had a neighbor with a pet Grizzly Bear named "Peter" that he wanted moved to their New Hampshire summer home but Peter decidedly didn't fit comfortably into the family camper van for the cross-country sojourn.   Plus Peter had emotional issues at the time that jeopardized traveler. safety.  The neighbor reached out to Schnebly due to his extensive experience with bears, and with Schnebly's entrepreneurial instinct, the Bear Delivery Service was born.

Yes, our company has long been known for the excellent and customized training of pet bears.   Our signature move of teaching a bear to push a lawnmower around as if to mow  the lawn was both compelling to owner and bear alike.   Many felt that it contributed to positive self-esteem for the bears that learned it.  But with the rise of automated robot mowers, increased immigration of low-wage labor, and animal rights activists concerns, this line of business dried up and we barely had anymore clients other than a couple billionaires - so we decided to discontinue this service in 2018.

Due to our team's extensive expertise in ethical bear management, the Bear Delivery Service expanded into "Trap and Transport" for the removal of nuisance bears from properties.  With the increasing encroachment of human development upon bear habitats, this service was debuted in 1984 and has become increasing popular. 

IT IS IMPORTANT HOWEVER TO DISTINGUISH THAT WE DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN "BEAR BOUNTY" PROGRAMS LIKE OUR COMPETITOR 'BEAR BE GONE" (www.bearbegone.com).  It sickens us to be compared with them as we uphold the strictest compliance and safety programs with concern for the welfare of the bear in our trap and relocation activities. 

The fact that Bear Be Gone encourages landowners to bait for bears that they can capture and then sold to private owners is appalling and it gives a terrible reputation to the whole Bear Transportation industry.   Please write your legislative representative and ask them to enact legislation to ban this barbaric practice!
